Predavanje će prikazati aktivnosti Galerije Emil Filla u češkom gradu Ústí nad Labemu, i to u posljednja tri desetljeća. Tijekom tog razdoblja, naime, ovaj grad i njegova kulturna scena doživjeli su dinamičnu transformaciju i rast te poprimili svoj današnji oblik. Autorica će predstaviti galerijsku scenu, umjetničke institucije, ličnosti i aktivnosti koje su tipične upravo za Ústí nad Labem i koje doprinose jedinstvenom karakteru ovog mjesta.

Eva Imr Mráziková, dr. sc., docentica je na Odsjeku za povijest i teoriju umjetnosti Fakulteta umjetnosti i dizajna Sveučilišta Jan Evangelista Purkyně u Ústí nad Labemu. Fokus njezinog nastavnog rada su suvremeni umjetnički trendovi, kustoske prakse i djelovanje galerijskih institucija. Već preko dva desetljeća djeluje i kao kustosica, organizirajući izložbe i umjetničke projekte, te vodi Galeriju Emil Filla u Ústí nad Labemu. U svom galerijskom radu posebno je usredotočena na prezentaciju izložbi i komunikaciju između umjetničke institucije i publike.

The lecture will present the gallery activities in Ústí nad Labem over three decades, during which the city and its cultural scene have dynamically transformed, grown, and evolved into their current form. The author will introduce the gallery scene, art institutions, personalities, and activities that are specific to Ústí nad Labem and contribute to the unique character of this place.

Mgr. Eva Imr Mráziková, Ph.D.

is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Art History and Theory at the Faculty of Art and Design, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. Her lectures focus on the latest trends in contemporary art, curatorial practices, and gallery operations. For over two decades, she has also worked as an art curator, organizing exhibitions and projects, and has been leading the Emil Filla Gallery in Ústí nad Labem. A central aspect of her work emphasizes exhibition presentation and the communication between the gallery institution and its audience.
